Visitors to Hanoi increases five times in Jan-Nov

In the first eleven months of 2022, about 17 million visitors have chosen Hanoi as their destination, up five times from the same period last year, according to the municipal Tourism Department. The figure includes 1.27 million international tourists and 15.75 million domestic arrivals. Tourism revenue is estimated at VND48.35 trillion (US$1.9 billion), increasing five times on year. In November alone, Hanoi hosted 1.61 million visitors, including 1.35 million from other localities nationwide and 255,000 foreigners, and earned VND4.39 trillion ($176 million) from tourism, five times higher than the same period last year. Vikram-S, India’s first privately developed rocket, will be launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from its spaceport in Sriharikota, about 115 kms from Chennai, at 11:30 am 18 Nov.
