Mong Cai receives 700 Chinese tourists after two days of reopening border gate
Mong Cai International Border Gate welcomes its first foreign tourist group in the post-COVID period on March 15. Several tourist spots in the area, including the Tra Co tourism site and Mong Cai border market have become bustling once again over the past few days. Uncle Ho Memorial House and Milestone 1369 are the first spots Chinese tourists visit as part of their tour after China moved to reopen its borders. Many Chinese tourists share that the tours help them to gain a better understanding of Vietnamese culture and the traditional friendship between the two nations. A group of Chinese tourists says that this marks the third time they have travelled to Mong Cai city.
