US Ambassador Congratulates His Vietnamese Teacher on Teachers’ Day

Photo: VNA On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper congratulated and chatted with Hanh McPherson, who taught Vietnamese to the Ambassador at the US Diplomatic Academy (FSI). In the video released by the US Embassy on November 18, Ambassador Knapper had an online conversation in Vietnamese with the Vietnamese teacher for the Ambassador at the US Diplomatic Academy – Hanh McPherson. At the beginning of the conversation, the diplomat quoted a saying in Vietnamese that is ‘Khong thay do may lam nen’ (Nothing can succeed without the help of the teacher). He also expressed respect and gratitude to Hanh who had taught Vietnamese to him.
