17 Enchanting Places Around the World – Cua Van Fishing Village

According to a travel article, Cua Van fishing village is ranked seventh among 17 locations worldwide. Cua Van is a picturesque fishing village located in Ha Long Bay that can only be accessed by boat. It is one of the largest floating fishing villages in the world, with residents living in beautiful houses on rafts. The village even has a school. Cua Van is home to more than 170 households who primarily rely on fishing for their livelihoods. In 2017, it was recognized as one of the top 30 travel destinations globally by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine. In 2015, Huffington Post named Cua Van one of the world’s most charming small towns. The top spot on Bright Side’s fairy-tale places list goes to the Kaliningrad fishing village in Russia. Europe Village 2023 in Hanoi: Explore cultural diversity of Europe

This weekend, the pedestrian areas around Hoan Kiem Lake will be turned into a miniature Europe with a variety of artistic, culinary, and lifestyle experiences for the public. Organized by the Delegation of the European Union (EU) and EU Member States, Europe Village – the largest European cultural event in Vietnam in 2023 – will take place from May 12 to 14 and promises to offer a memorable journey through the diversity of European cultures. Returning after five years, the event, with the participation of 16 EU countries and Ukraine as a special guest, will showcase the diverse cultural identity of European countries.  The event will offer an intense line-up of more than 20 musical performances by European and Vietnamese musicians, presenting genres from jazz, pop-rock, and DJ sets to classical rhythms.    French singer Kenjah will perform on the main stage.
