More than 6,000 runners participate in races in the Mekong Delta province of Vietnam.
This group of participants included 1,000 children and 15 international athletes from 14 countries and territories. This event is the second edition of its kind, meeting international standards recognized by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The tournament officially began on Sunday morning, offering 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km races for both professional and amateur runners. The runners who participated in this tournament can use their results to register for prestigious running events around the world, such as the World Six Majors. These events take place annually in Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City. On Saturday afternoon, the races for children as part of the tournament were completed.
