Working on Hoi An Rice Fields: An Unforgettable Experience for International Tourists
Nguyen Van Lanh, Vice Chairman of Hoi An City People’s Committee, stated that the festival offers an opportunity for farmers to share their experiences in rice cultivation and improve the quality of rice production. It also contributes to the preservation and promotion of the intangible cultural values associated with traditional rice farming. Following the ceremony, participants were able to engage in various engaging activities, including witnessing buffalo plowing in the fields and water bailing with bamboo buckets. Notably, the event attracted a significant number of international tourists who eagerly learned about rice cultivation in Vietnam.
