Ngo Mon: Mesmerizing Artistic Light Installations in Hue Imperial City
The event titled “Hue by light – The live show” was brought together by the French Embassy in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Institute of France in Vietnam and the local People’s Committee. This extraordinary performance utilized advanced 3D mapping lighting technology, with a staggering light intensity of 300,000 lumens, to create captivating 3D visual effects on the iconic Ngo Mon gate. Lasting for 50 minutes, the show showcased the beauty of landscapes in all four seasons, accompanied by a mesmerizing soundtrack blending the creations of Vietnamese and French artists. Throughout the light displays, the audience was able to witness the harmonious fusion of Vietnamese and French cultures – a unique combination of Art Nouveau, traditional lacquer art of Vietnam, minimalism, and Art Deco.
