Traveloka and Philippine Airlines Strengthening their Strategic Cooperation

The initiative with Philippine Airlines, the Philippines’ flag carrier and sole full-service network airline, is aligned with Traveloka’s commitment to strengthening tourism growth in the Philippines and in the Southeast Asia Region. This strategic cooperation is formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Traveloka and Philippine Airlines that was signed in Manila on Tuesday, 28 February 2023. The MoU was signed by Iko Putera, CEO of Transport Traveloka and Captain Stanley K. Ng, President & COO of Philippine Airlines. Based on the data from the Philippines Department of Tourism, around 83,000 tourists visited the Philippines from the Southeast Asian region during the early pandemic of 2020, a dramatic drop from the over 526 thousand in 2019 due to global border restrictions. Vietnam athletes offered $1mn for winning Paris Olympic gold medal

The bonuses, which are the biggest rewards ever offered in Vietnam’s sports history, result from a deal signed by the Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC) and a strategic partner of the International Sports Funding & Support Association (ISF) in South Korea that will sponsor the entire amount. Protests Outside Chinese ‘Police Station’ in New York over Alleged Spying

On Saturday, the protesters gathered outside 107 East Broadway where the ChangLe Association Inc, a non-profit which operates a “service station” above the noodle shop. One of the protesters, Toni Cai said, “It’s a very serious problem in the Chinese community,” adding that CCP has coerced people from China severely and has a large influence on them in the state, through American and Asian-American politicians. Vietnamese designer to debut collection at Paris Fashion Week

Hoa will be the only Vietnamese ready-to-wear clothing designer attending the prestigious fashion event this year. At present, she is busy completing her 15 designs using traditional natural materials of Vietnam Lanh My A, a delicate cloth woven from the finest silk fibres produced in Tan Chau Silk Village in the southern province of An Giang. The 31-year-old designer is residing in Ha Tinh province and graduated from National Economics University in Hanoi. She now mostly lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City. She built the wedding dress brand Eleven S, which has proved to be a favourite among many Vietnamese artists and celebrities.
