The Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam (KTO) Vietnam has awarded the Korea Travel Awards to travel agents that have best promoted South Korean tourism in Hanoi. According to Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a special festival will be held in Lai Chau province from October 6 to 8. The festival aims to celebrate and promote the traditional identities and values of ethnic minorities, educate about patriotic traditions and national pride, and strengthen the unity of the nation. 13 localities, including Lai Chau and its neighboring provinces, will participate in the festival. Additionally, provinces across the country such as Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Kon Tum will be involved. The festival aims to introduce and promote the nation’s cultural, sports, and tourism potential and strengths, especially among less-populated ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000. It also seeks to raise awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
