Children’s winning artworks displayed in Hanoi

More than 400 children’s paintings that won the National Children’s Painting Contest 2023 are on display at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, Hanoi, from June 1 to 10.  Delegates are watching paintings chosen from the National Children’s Painting Contest 2023. Additional Support of USD 2.1 million for Child Drowning Prevention in Vietnam

Drowning has been one of the top 10 causes of death for children from 5 to 14 years old in Vietnam currently. On average, there are more than 3,500 drowning deaths each year, including nearly 2,000 children. Beginning from that reality, it is more urgent to strengthen and expand the intervention scope of child drowning prevention projects nationwide, requiring close coordination and effective participation of branches, unions, and international organizations to form an interdisciplinary network for drowning prevention. The MoU and cooperation agreement announcement marks a new cooperation period for child drowning prevention. Khanh Hoa’s Strict Patrols to Control Illegal Fishing in Key Coastal Areas

There were a total of 135 a dministrative inspection procedures done by the Fisheries Control Force over the past 5 months. The force detected 52 cases of violations in the field of fishing, with a total amount of VND 689 million and confiscated 16 sets of stun guns, cage. Many captain’s licenses were stripped in some cases because they did not maintain cruise monitoring equipment when operating at sea. It is concluded that main violations in Khanh Hoa are electrical fishing, fishing in the wrong area, and disabling the connection of the monitoring device for fishing vessels. Explore Tam Thanh – The Colorful Mural Village In Quang Nam

Tam Thanh mural village is located in Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province . The village has one side bordering the sea and the other side bordering the Truong Giang River, about 7km from the center of Tam Ky city. This is the first mural village in Vietnam under the cooperation of Vietnamese and Korean artists and volunteers, which was established in 2016. It has helped attract many domestic and foreign tourists coming to this place to explore the unique sight of arts and creativity.
