Swiss daily: Vietnam Becomes New Favorite Destination for Foreign Investors

The article said Vietnam recorded the strongest economic growth in Asia in 2022 following a period of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Vietnamese puppetry performance to open World Theatre Congress

The performance Mo Rong (Dragon Dream) will be led by director Le Quy Duong and performed by artists from the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre. Dragon Dream will be the only performance representing the Asia-Pacific region to open the show alongside performances of theatrical representatives from Europe, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, and the Middle East. Director Le Quy Duong states that the performance is a combination of the traditional drum in Cheo, which is a traditional Vietnamese opera art form, and unique foot puppetry. The performance tells of “Chu Teu”, a humourous farmer, who is a vivid symbol of Vietnamese folklore. When war suddenly strikes, people come together to show solidarity and support each other to overcome all difficulties, with “Chu Teu” being saved by a pair of dragons during the conflict. Vietnamese culture introduced at Bangkok Design Week 2023

The collection, Eternal Passion, features 30 ready-to-wear designs for women and men in Vietnamese materials. Shoes and accessories are also included. Tuan used the images of Vietnamese flowers to highlight his hand-embroidered designs. The images were used on clothes worn by the royalty of the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945). Traditional Vietnamese culture introduced in North Africa

The shows were organised at Mohammed V Theatre in Rabat and Mohammed Zefzaf Theatre in Casablanca on February 9-10, attracting hundreds of local people, as well as foreign diplomats in Morocco and members of the overseas Vietnamese living and working there.
