Truong Ngoc Anh to Serve as Judge at Malaysia International Film Festival 2020

Renowned filmmaker Johnnie To from Hong Kong (China) has been appointed as the president of the panel at the festival. The panel comprises of esteemed industry professionals such as Japanese director Ryuichi Hiroki, Singaporean film producer Eric Khoo, Malaysian actor Zizan Razak, and Vietnamese film producer Truong Ngoc Anh. This year, the festival featured a competition among 10 films from various countries including India, Spain, Ukraine, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Turkey, Japan, and the host country Malaysia. The MIFFest serves as a platform to showcase both Malaysian and international films. Alongside this event, the Malaysia Golden Global Awards (MGGA) takes place to recognize and honor outstanding filmmakers for their exceptional contributions throughout the year. Vietnam Hosts International Fireworks Festival, France Emerges Victorious

The 2023 DIFF concluded its final night along the Han River, under the theme ‘A World Without Distance,’ featuring an exhilarating competition between the Italian and French teams. The event was graced by the presence of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, alongside a multitude of local and international spectators. The French contestants captivated the audience and claimed the prestigious title at the festival that commenced on June 2nd, featuring a breathtaking and emotionally charged fireworks display. The event brought together eight teams from countries such as the UK, Poland, Canada, France, Finland, Australia, Italy, and Vietnam. The French team’s fireworks performance, titled “Lighting Up Love,” captivated the audience with an exhilarating musical backdrop.
