Renowned filmmaker Johnnie To from Hong Kong (China) has been appointed as the president of the panel at the festival. The 2023 DIFF concluded its final night along the Han River, under the theme ‘A World Without Distance,’ featuring an exhilarating competition between the Italian and French teams. The event was graced by the presence of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, alongside a multitude of local and international spectators. The French contestants captivated the audience and claimed the prestigious title at the festival that commenced on June 2nd, featuring a breathtaking and emotionally charged fireworks display.
