Miss Global 2023 Unveils National Costume

Thuy shared that the outfit was designed by Nguyen Viet Hung, taking inspiration from the Nghe, a mythical creature in Vietnamese traditional culture. The dress features a 3D image of Nghe on the shoulder, which is a distinctive highlight. The costume is also accessorized with a scepter showcasing the head of the Nghe and a headdress with stylized phoenix and sun motifs. It is expected that this unique outfit will contribute to Thuy’s success in the competition. Doan Thu Thuy is 28 years old and comes from Phu Tho province in northern Vietnam. She was crowned as Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022 during the grand final held in Ho Chi Minh City last year. Special Lunar New Year Festival to be Celebrated in HCM City

Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to savor a total of 121 traditional Tet dishes from the north, central, and south regions. The highlight of the festival will be an exhibition showcasing Tet feasts, along with captivating performances of traditional music. The event will also offer a range of Tet dishes from different parts of the country. Vietnam and China strengthen collaboration in cultural and academic exchange
