Japanese Embassy to Host Specified Skill Exam in Vietnam

Foreign nationals who want to work in Japan with the new status must pass a skill exam and a Japanese language proficiency test. During his meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Tokyo on December 16, Prime Minister Kishida Fumio confirmed the importance of Vietnam’s workforce for Japan’s socio-economic development.
