They will collaborate with Viet Duc Hospital, Hong Ngoc Hospital, and Central Military Hospital 108 to provide free surgeries for children and share their expertise with Vietnamese doctors. Vietnam to lose five 31st SEA Games gold medals due to doping

These athletes, all in track and field, are Quach Thi Lan, Khuat Phuong Anh, Vu Ngoc Ha, Hoang Thi Ngoc, and Le Ngoc Phuc. Following the forfeiture of the gold medals, the Vietnamese athletics team will see their gold medal tally down to 17 from 22. The doping offenders will also be subject to a four-year ban. He is Kiyokata Yamaoka, who is 43 years old and has lived for more than 10 years in Vietnam. “It all began with a trip. Kiyo never thought that after 13 years, he would choose to settle down in this country, and got married to a Vietnamese woman,” 33 – year – old Tran Vu My Trinh, who is his wife, shared. Thousands attend Lim festival in Bac Ninh

The annual Lim festival falls on the 12th and 13th days of the first lunar month, or February 2 and February 3 this year. The festival mainly takes place in the Hong Van Mountain, or Lim Mountain area which attracts the most visitors. Diverse activities are held throughout the festival, including folk games, love duet singing, and calligraphy. A performance of love duet songs put on by children in Hoan Son commune of Tien Du district receives plenty of enthusiastic applause from locals and tourists. Female singers make trầu (betel and areca nut), an ancient snack, for visitors to enjoy at the festival. Some visitors ask for calligraphy works from scholars, a tradition in the new lunar year.
