Japanese newspaper interested in expanding collaboration with Tuoi Tre newspaper

The Vietnam Phở Festival 2023 organizing board, consisting of representatives from Tuoi Tre and Saigontourist Group’s chairman Pham Huy Binh, paid a visit to Mainichi, Tuoi Tre’s strategic partner, on the same day. The festival, set to happen at Yoyogi Park – Keyaki Namiki, Tokyo on Saturday and Sunday, aims to introduce Vietnamese cuisine, particularly pho, to the world and bring the taste of homeland pho to overseas Vietnamese. “Tuoi Tre and domestic businesses being able to hold an international event after the COVID-19 pandemic is truly admirable,” expressed Tanaka. “Mainichi hopes that Tuoi Tre will support us in resuming our promotional activities to contribute to fostering bilateral ties,” he added. Announcing the Winners of the “Amazing Vietnam” Photo Contest

A total of 11 winners are announced as part of the contest, including one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes. The contest aims to promote the country’s tourism industry in the post-COVID period, as well as attracting more domestic and international tourists. As many as 175 photographs are selected to be put on display at an exhibition in Hanoi. The first prize goes to a photograph of Ho Chi Minh City at night by author Nguyen Dang Viet Cuong. A photo by Vu Van Lam of Hai Phong is awarded the second prize. Another second prize is given to author Dang Thi Phuong Lan of Yen Bai province. Author Vu Bao Ngoc of Hanoi wins the third prize. Vietnams Dong Thap Allocates $3.2 Million for Red-Crowned Crane Conservation Project

A flock of red-crowned cranes will live in their natural habitat at the Tram Chim National Park in the province’s Tam Nong District, with at least 50 of them living there for the 2023-33 period, according to data released at a meeting held by the provincial administration on Thursday. The project’s total funding will be allocated as follows: nearly VND13 billion ($555,687) for improving the habitat of the cranes, almost VND6 billion ($256,100) for organic agricultural production, and VND8 billion ($341,900) for tourism promotion. The objective of the project is to not only restore the crane population, but also protect biodiversity, recreate their natural habitats, and develop an environment for organic agricultural production to benefit local residents.
