Sea Festival in Nha Trang slated for June 2024

The festival is scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 22, 2023, immediately following the Ever Glamor Nha Trang international light show festival. Its purpose is to kick off the summer tourism season in Khanh Hoa province with a series of events.

The international light show festival will feature four teams from the Republic of Korea, China, India, and Vietnam. The festival will take place throughout the weekend.

The winning team will have the opportunity to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Nha Trang Sea Festival. The opening ceremony will include a light show with drones that depict stories about the history, culture, and people of Khanh Hoa.

During the festival, there will be a total of 120 booths displaying tourism products from Khanh Hoa province, as well as other localities across the country. The festival will also include various activities such as a fruit festival, fashion shows, jazz performances, and cinema discussions.

The province is expecting to attract numerous visitors throughout the festival.

The Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is held every two years and has become a symbol of the beach resort city since 2003. In 2021, the festival was canceled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, Khanh Hoa province welcomed a total of 2.57 million tourists, generating nearly VND14 trillion in tourism revenue.

This year, the province aims to attract four million tourists, including 1.5 million foreign visitors, and generate approximately VND21 trillion.
