Local beauty Thanh Thanh Huyen (R) joins a number of foreign beauties who model Ao Dai during the semi-final night. The Khanh Hoa native stands at 1.70 metres tall and measures 85-61-89. She is most notable for finishing in the Top 15 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 and now works as an emcee.

Vietnam is the host country of the first Miss Charm pageant. The beauty pageant aims to honour the beauty and talent of women worldwide. In addition, it is also a chance for contestants to promote their country, cuisine, culture, and tourism through activities held during the competition.

The pageant was first launched in 2019. After two delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the contest officially restarted in 2023.
